Indonesia is gearing up to host the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia in 2026, with organizers PT Pertamina and InJourney urging the public to rally behind the nation's homegrown racing talent. The event, themed "Spirit of Indonesia Going Global with Pertamina," will feature Moto2 rider Mario Suryo Aji and Moto3 rider Veda Ega Pratama competing at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Lombok from October 9-11, 2026.

A "Fans Meet & Greet" event held in Jakarta on July 17, 2026, demonstrated the strong public enthusiasm for the upcoming race. Fans, media, and automotive communities gathered to meet Aji and Pratama, who will represent Indonesia on the global stage. The excitement was palpable during a convoy that traversed key Jakarta locations, with fans and automotive clubs lining the route to show their support.
