Inside Céline Dion’s closely guarded Nevada home, where she lives with her three sons

For 23 years, Céline Dion’s home has stood apart from the usual celebrity pied-à-terre. In Lake Las Vegas, a private residential area built around an artificial lake, large gates and tight security conceal the singer’s property from view.

Dion bought the house with René Angélil in 2003, when the couple had moved to Las Vegas for her first residency at Caesars Palace. The property has since been expanded and redesigned. It now covers about 800 square metres, with four bedrooms, six bathrooms and a single-level layout framed by large windows. A second house accommodates her staff, while an adjoining plot has remained undeveloped, adding to the property’s isolation.

The home includes a swimming pool, a basketball court, a room dedicated to video games, an immaculate American-style kitchen and a huge living room with a grand piano. The arrangement appears designed to let the family live there without exposing its daily life.

That privacy was briefly lifted for the documentary I Am: Celine Dion, available on Amazon Prime Video. Cameras showed the singer in pyjamas, vacuuming, caring for her dog Bear and watching one of her sons play video games. Residents in South Shore told Le Parisien that the three boys were discreet and well behaved. “Celine is above all a mother,” one resident said. Another added, “They are very loved here.”

From the Nevada house, Dion has gradually returned to studio work. During the summer, she worked at the Palms Casino Resort, rehearsing with her musicians and alternating vocal work with remote discussions involving her team in Montreal, as she prepared for her return to Paris.
