Interest in 'C airBaltic' card offering travel benefits continues to grow

The new "C airBaltic" payment card, launched less than a month ago, has already attracted over 1,000 customers across the Baltic region, signaling a strong demand for integrating daily banking with travel perks. This collaboration between Citadele bank and the airline airBaltic aims to offer tangible benefits to frequent travelers.

Edvardas Rebāne, a board member at Citadele bank, highlighted the significance of reaching the first thousand customers. "This is an important milestone and a clear signal to us that people value the opportunity to get additional benefits from their daily purchases," Rebāne stated. He emphasized the bank's goal to simplify daily banking and provide more advantages, expressing optimism for continued growth in card usage.

The card allows users to accumulate one "airBaltic Club" point for every euro spent on eligible purchases. These points can then be redeemed for flights, enabling customers to reach their desired destinations faster. New Citadele customers who link their card to an "airBaltic Club" profile also receive welcome points, further incentivizing early adoption.

Beyond point accumulation, "C airBaltic" cardholders enjoy a suite of travel benefits when flying with airBaltic. These include up to 12 kg of hand luggage, priority online check-in, seat reservation, check-in at the business class counter, and priority boarding. Additionally, cardholders receive 1 GB of free mobile data via eSIM for travel and comprehensive travel insurance for themselves and their family members abroad. The card also facilitates free euro transfers within Europe and allows for up to 1,500 euros in free ATM withdrawals per month worldwide, with options for accessing airport VIP lounges for an additional fee.
