Investor sues National Nutrition Agency for Rp 218 billion over undelivered kitchens

An investor named Mujazin plans to file a civil lawsuit against the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), demanding the return of Rp 218 billion. Mujazin alleges that the agency failed to fulfill its commitment to hand over 97 'MBG' (nutritious meal) kitchens, which was the basis for the substantial payment.

Mujazin's legal representative, Yazdy Alaydrus, stated that the lawsuit will be filed soon, citing a lack of response from BGN. The dispute originated when Mujazin agreed to take over the 97 kitchen sites, provided he deposited Rp 218 billion with BGN. This sum was intended to cover the costs of building the kitchens and supplying necessary equipment.

Evidence, including video footage of the transaction, shows that Mujazin transferred the funds to BGN, partly in cash and partly via check. A memorandum of understanding was signed on September 2, 2025, between Mujazin, representing the Kharisma Cendekia Indonesia Foundation, and BGN's then-deputy, Lodewyk Pusung. However, Mujazin has yet to receive any of the promised kitchens. Adding to the complexity, Lodewyk Pusung has since been named a suspect in a corruption case related to the MBG project by the Attorney General's Office.
