iPASS MONEY App Gets Major Upgrade with Ride Discounts and Unified Payments

Taiwan's electronic payment market is heating up, with iPASS MONEY, boasting over 7.2 million users, announcing a comprehensive app upgrade. The revamped application introduces a host of new features designed to streamline daily transactions and enhance user convenience.

Key among the upgrades is the integration of ride-hailing services. iPASS MONEY has partnered with the taxi platform yoxi, adding a direct booking portal within the app. To encourage adoption, a promotional campaign runs from June 17 to October 31, offering a NT$200 ride voucher package for users who book and pay via iPASS MONEY. Additional monthly point rewards are available for reaching spending thresholds, with a cap of 200 points per user per month.

In the retail sector, iPASS MONEY is enhancing convenience store payments. Starting June 24, 7-ELEVEN will implement a "member, invoice, and payment" unified QR code system. This allows customers to simultaneously complete membership points accrual, cloud invoice storage, and payment with a single QR code scan, significantly simplifying the checkout process.

The app also strengthens its bill payment services, particularly for credit card payments. By integrating with TWQR, the platform now supports bill payments for 12 partner banks. Users can scan the TWQR code on their bills to settle credit card dues directly through iPASS MONEY.

Furthermore, iPASS MONEY has partnered with Federal Bank to offer enhanced rewards for credit card users. From June 17 to December 31, users who pay their Federal Bank credit card bills using iPASS MONEY and link a Federal Bank card to the app will receive a 1% cashback in iPASS MONEY Green Points, capped at 200 points per month. This promotion has a total reward pool of 15 million points.

This revision first optimizes the APP homepage, reorganizes service entrances and interface design, and integrates functions such as transfers, bill payments, rides, and daily consumption, hoping that users can complete multiple daily needs through a single APP, improving operational convenience and overall experience.
