The price of Apple's flagship iPhone 17 Pro with 256GB of storage varies dramatically across the globe, with Türkiye emerging as the most expensive market. Buyers in Türkiye face a staggering price of $2,592 for the device, which is more than double the $1,181 cost in the United States.

This significant price disparity is attributed to a combination of local taxes, import duties, currency fluctuations, and specific market regulations. Data compiled by Deutsche Bank for its 2026 global price comparison highlights these factors, showing that Türkiye's price is 219% of the U.S. benchmark.

Following Türkiye, Brazil ranks as the second most expensive market, with the iPhone 17 Pro 256GB retailing for $2,260, or 191% of the U.S. price. Egypt is third at $1,872 (158% of the U.S. price), followed by Hungary at $1,826 (155%).

Other countries with high iPhone prices include Norway ($1,687), Mexico ($1,657), Sweden ($1,601), Poland ($1,588), and Czechia ($1,585). These figures underscore how local economic conditions and fiscal policies can substantially inflate the cost of consumer electronics for international buyers.
