Shubman Gill's magnificent century powered Gujarat Titans into the Indian Premier League final, as they defeated Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in a high-scoring second qualifier. Gill's unbeaten 104 off 53 balls, studded with 15 fours and three sixes, anchored Gujarat's chase of 215.

Gill and opening partner Sai Sudharsan provided a blistering start, racing to 69 without loss in the powerplay. Despite the loss, Rajasthan's 15-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi impressed with a blistering 96 off 47 balls, including eight fours and seven sixes. Rajasthan captain Riyan Parag lauded Sooryavanshi's performance, stating, "The way Sooryavanshi's batted, it's not just slogging... he calculates, he assesses conditions. He does literally everything well." Parag expressed hope that Sooryavanshi would represent the country and bring more laurels.

Gujarat Titans will now face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the final on Sunday at their home ground in Ahmedabad. They aim to avenge their earlier defeat in the first qualifier and secure their second IPL title.
