Iran Claims Drone Strikes on U.S. Bases in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait

Iran's military has claimed responsibility for drone attacks targeting U.S. bases in Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait. State television broadcast a military statement announcing that "Arash" kamikaze drones struck fuel storage facilities, large equipment warehouses, and barracks at the Isa Air Base in Bahrain. An AFP journalist in Bahrain reported hearing an explosion and sirens on Friday morning, though a direct link to the reported attacks was not immediately confirmed. The Iranian military also asserted it conducted drone strikes against Jordan, aiming at aircraft hangars and barracks at the Al Azraq base. Separately, Iran stated it launched drones at U.S. equipment depots and troop camps in Kuwait. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Iran's ideological military branch, claimed to have targeted the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, destroying an ammunition depot and causing casualties among U.S. troops. Tehran considers any base utilized by the U.S. military in the Middle East a legitimate target for retaliatory actions.
