Iran crosses all red lines

Kuwait issued a strong condemnation of repeated Iranian attacks, including a recent incident early Saturday, labeling them a blatant act of aggression that disregards international calls for de-escalation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that these actions pose a direct threat to citizens and residents, as well as to regional security and stability. Kuwait views the attacks as a flagrant violation of its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, and a clear breach of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817. The ministry warned that such actions represent a dangerous escalation, risking further regional tension at a time when the international community is striving to halt hostilities. Kuwait asserted its right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its security and territory. The country also condemned Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain, viewing them as a dangerous destabilizing factor. Kuwait expressed full solidarity with Bahrain and support for its security measures, emphasizing the indivisible security of GCC states. Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah also received a call from his Egyptian counterpart, who condemned the attacks on Kuwait. Meanwhile, Bahrain announced its air defense systems intercepted three missiles and several drones launched by Iran, stating that the attacks deliberately targeted civilians and private property, a violation of international humanitarian law. Bahrain's Defense Force confirmed its defenses neutralized the projectiles and that military units remain on high alert. Saudi Arabia also strongly condemned the Iranian actions.
