Iran Denies 'Barron Trump Assassination Plot' Allegations

Iran has officially dismissed claims of any involvement in an alleged assassination plot targeting Barron Trump, the youngest son of former U.S. President Donald Trump. Iranian officials have labeled these reports as "lies."

The accusations gained traction following a report by CNN, which cited Iran's state broadcaster IRIB for airing a video. This video, reportedly about three minutes long, allegedly began with the question "Where should we kill Barron Trump?" and showcased locations where Barron Trump is known to frequent, including Trump Tower in New York.

Further details from the report suggest the video included content indicating Barron Trump was under surveillance and offered a $10 million bounty for his life. The broadcast has fueled speculation about Iran's intentions and led to the U.S. Secret Service confirming it is aware of the video and investigating all matters that could be perceived as threats against those under its protection.

Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, addressed the allegations in an interview with Lebanon's Al-Manar TV, stating unequivocally that there was no assassination plan against Barron Trump and that the reports were untrue.
