Iran Hurls Missiles at Israel in Retaliation for Lebanon Attacks

Iran launched a missile barrage targeting Israel's Ramat David Air Base, marking a significant escalation in regional tensions. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared the strike a retaliatory measure, asserting that the targeted base served as the origin point for Israeli aggressions against southern Lebanon and Beirut's southern suburbs.

Mohsen Rezaee, a military advisor to Iran's supreme leader, issued a stern warning via X, stating, "The aggressors received their response." He emphasized that this action was a "warning to stop their crimes" and that "any new action will be met with a worse response and a higher price."

According to Iranian state media, the Israeli military had previously violated "all red lines" by targeting Beirut's southern outskirts and intensifying attacks in southern Lebanon. The IRGC statement reiterated previous warnings, indicating that further Israeli aggression would lead to more devastating and regrettable strikes against Israel and its supporters.
