Iran Parliament Speaker Slams US Attack on Qeshm Island, Vows Retribution

Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has strongly condemned a recent U.S. attack on civilian homes on Qeshm Island. Speaking via the social media platform X, Ghalibaf accused the U.S. administration of committing new crimes daily. He characterized the assault on Qeshm Island as a continuation of previous attacks in Minab and Lamerd.

Ghalibaf asserted that the United States is retaliating against innocent people for its defeats on the battlefield. He issued a stern warning, stating that the U.S. would be held accountable and would pay the price for these actions. The Hormozgan Governorate reported that a U.S. military strike targeted a house on Qeshm Island earlier in the day, resulting in the deaths of three members of the same family and injuring two others.
