Iran's speaker: War with U.S. won't end in surrender

Iran's parliamentary speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, declared that any war with the United States would not conclude with Iran's surrender, vowing resistance against oppression.

Ghalibaf claimed that the U.S., Israel, and NATO underestimated Iran's ability to resist, expecting a swift capitulation. "They thought they could bring Iran to its knees in a few days, but they realized they could not achieve their goals," he said, adding that Iran's actions have damaged American prestige and created political and economic pressure that led the U.S. to seek a ceasefire.
