Iranian woman known as 'zombie Angelina Jolie' looks unrecognizable in resurfaced video

Sahar Tabar, an Iranian woman who became an internet sensation seven years ago, has resurfaced in recent social media discussions. Tabar initially gained fame by posting photos on social media that highlighted her sunken cheeks, exaggerated features, and distinctive makeup, which many likened to a zombie-like version of Angelina Jolie.

While rumors circulated that she had undergone numerous plastic surgeries, with some reports claiming as many as 50, Tabar later revealed that a significant part of her appearance was achieved through makeup, facial contouring, and photo editing. She stated her intention was never to become a perfect replica of Jolie but rather to create an artistic, shocking online persona.

However, her story took a more serious turn in 2019 when she was arrested in Iran on charges of violating moral standards and publishing indecent content online. She spent over a year in prison. Recently, a video surfaced showing Tabar's appearance from a few years ago, without the filters, excessive makeup, and extreme online image that made her famous. The video has surprised many internet users who admitted they did not realize she looked so different in reality.
