IRGC claims ballistic missiles targeted US carrier and destroyer

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says it fired several ballistic missiles at a US aircraft carrier and a destroyer, accusing the warships of harassing Iranian vessels and taking part in a naval blockade.

The Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked with several ballistic missiles the aircraft carrier and a destroyer of the child-killing American army that were harassing Iranian ships and participating in the naval blockade.

The IRGC Aerospace Force claimed in a statement carried by Iranian state broadcaster IRIB that both ships left the conflict area after suffering damage and fearing another attack. The statement described the US military in inflammatory terms and presented the missile attack as part of Iran’s retaliation against what Tehran calls hostile actions against its shipping.

The two warships were forced to flee the conflict area after sustaining damage and fearing another attack.

The announcement followed claims by the IRGC Navy that it had targeted three oil tankers traveling through what it called an unauthorized route in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as three vessels affiliated with the United States elsewhere. The Iranian force said those actions came after US strikes on three Iranian oil tankers.

Do not be deceived by the American terrorist army and avoid any suspicious movement to cross unauthorised waterways, otherwise you will be targeted.

The IRGC Navy warned vessels operating near the Strait of Hormuz not to use waterways it considers unauthorized. It said ships should avoid suspicious movements or risk being targeted. The Aerospace Force separately warned that continued US actions would bring what it called fierce responses from Iran’s armed forces.

If the hostile and aggressive actions continue, the US regime must expect fierce responses from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
