Iskandar Kunaefi Appointed President Director of PT Pos Indonesia Amidst Governance Probe

PT Pos Indonesia has appointed M. Iskandar Kunaefi as its new President Director, succeeding Daud Joseph who recently resigned from the state-owned postal company. The appointment was formalized through a decree signed on July 15, 2026, by officials from the State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Management Agency and PT Danantara Asset Management.

In addition to the leadership change, PT Pos Indonesia is restructuring its financial divisions. The role of Director of Finance and Risk Management has been split into two distinct positions. Fathul Anwar, formerly holding the combined role, will now serve as Director of Finance, while Rosmanidar Zulkifli has been appointed as Director of Risk Management.

Daud Joseph's resignation came just three months into his tenure. Danantara, a stakeholder in PT Pos Indonesia, indicated that Joseph's departure was due to significant financial and governance problems that had accumulated over years. Rohan Hafas, Managing Director of Stakeholders Management & Communications at Danantara, stated that an audit and investigation are underway to address indications of irregularities, including alleged financial engineering.
