Israel kills at least 4 Gazans, injures 7 in drone attack north of the Strip

An Israeli drone strike in the northern Gaza Strip killed at least four Palestinians and wounded seven others on Sunday, according to medical sources at Shifa Hospital. The attack occurred near the Al Madhoun market, behind Al Yemen Al Saeed Hospital, within the Jabalia refugee camp.

These latest fatalities bring the total number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since the October 10 ceasefire to at least 986, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health. The ministry's figures indicate that since the start of the Israeli military offensive in October 2023, nearly 73,000 Palestinians have died in Gaza from Israeli fire, with over a thousand more killed in the occupied West Bank, including more than 20,000 minors. The enclave's infrastructure, including hospitals, universities, and places of worship, has suffered extensive damage, with over 80% of buildings damaged or destroyed, and the majority of the population forcibly displaced.
