Israel Links Gaza Reconstruction to Hamas Disarmament

Reconstruction efforts in the Gaza Strip will not commence unless the militant group Hamas disarms, according to an Israeli government statement. This agreement was reportedly reached during an extensive meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. envoy Jared Kushner in Jerusalem, where a plan for the so-called Gaza Peace Council was discussed.
