Israeli-American Emanuel Sharp, signs three-year contract with NBA's Sacramento Kings

Israeli-American basketball talent Emanuel Sharp is set to join the NBA after signing a three-year contract with the Sacramento Kings. The deal is reportedly valued at $6.35 million, with the first two years guaranteed and a team option for the third.

Sharp, whose father is Maccabi Tel Aviv legend Derrick Sharp, brings a notable collegiate resume from the University of Houston. As a senior, he averaged 15.5 points per game and set the school record for career three-pointers with 309. His accolades include All-Big 12 First Team and All-Defensive Team selections in his final season, and he was named Most Outstanding Player of the Big 12 Tournament and NCAA Midwest Regional as a junior.

His impressive performances include a key role in the Cougars' 2025 Final Four game against Duke, where his late-game scoring helped propel the team to the NCAA national championship. NBA draft analysis describes Sharp as a high-IQ player with a strong three-point shot, good off-the-ball movement, and limited turnovers. He is projected as a "3-and-D" guard capable of spacing the floor, competing defensively, and making impactful plays within the offense.
