Israeli settlers burn two Palestinian mosques in West Bank attacks

Israeli settlers torched two Palestinian mosques in the northern West Bank early Sunday, continuing a night of attacks in the occupied territory. One mosque was set ablaze in the village of Qusra, south of Nablus, and another in the village of Kur, south of Tulkarem.

In Qusra, the Al Rahma mosque, which was under construction, was targeted. Settlers set fire to the building and destroyed construction tools, according to Abdul Azim Wadi, the village mayor. Hebrew graffiti reading "revenge" was also spray-painted on the walls.

Since the beginning of 2026, at least 87 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces, including 21 shot by settlers and the remainder by the army, according to Palestinian Authority data.
