Istanbul Metrobus Route to Change on July 15 Due to Commemoration Events

Istanbul's metrobus service will undergo a temporary route change starting Wednesday, July 15, at 03:00, as announced by the Istanbul Electric Tramway and Tunnel Operations (İETT). This alteration is in effect until further notice, following a decision by the Istanbul Governorship.

The metrobus line will reroute via the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, connecting the Zincirlikuyu and Söğütlüçeşme stations. During this period, passengers will not be able to board or alight at the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, Burhaniye, Altunizade, Acıbadem, Uzunçayır, and Fikirtepe stations.

For those traveling from the Anatolian side to the European side, passengers boarding at Söğütlüçeşme will use the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge route to reach Zincirlikuyu station, where they can continue their journeys. Conversely, travelers from the European side heading to the Anatolian side will need to transfer at Zincirlikuyu Metrobüs Station.

This change is related to the traffic restrictions announced by the Istanbul Governorship for the 15 July commemoration events. Various points along the Beşiktaş, Üsküdar, and 15 July Martyrs Bridge routes will be closed to vehicle traffic between 03:00 and 15:00 on Wednesday.
