Istanbul's cultural calendar packed with concerts, exhibitions, and film screenings this week

Istanbul is buzzing with cultural activity this week, offering a diverse range of events for art and entertainment enthusiasts. From August 21st, the AKM Open-Air Cinema will screen the Turkish-dubbed "Alice in Wonderland," directed by Tim Burton, followed by the animated Oscar-winner "Ratatouille" on August 23rd.

For those seeking interactive entertainment, Zorlu PSM Vestel Amfi will host "Community Hub Presents: The Lord of the Rings Quiz Night" tomorrow, where teams will compete for a grand prize. Theater lovers can enjoy Vasıf Öngören's play "Zengin Mutfagi," starring Şener Şen, tomorrow at Maximum Uniq Open-Air.

Music lovers have a packed schedule, with singer Yıldız Tilbe performing today at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theater. The "Türk Telekom Prime AKM Summer Concerts" series includes a performance by Teselli on August 19th at AKM Multipurpose Hall. Singer Edis will also perform on August 19th at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theater.
