“It’s Our Turn to Produce the Next Awujale,” Says Fusengbuwa Ruling House

The Fusengbuwa ruling house of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State says the time has come for it to produce the next Awujale and paramount ruler of Ijebuland.

The family reaffirmed its unity and determination to pursue the traditional position. It also described its claim as a lawful turn in the succession process.

The ruling house warned against alleged attempts to frustrate it from exercising that right. The statement did not provide further details about those alleged efforts.
