ITSE advances five candidates in search for new educational manager

Panama's Instituto Técnico Superior Especializado (ITSE) has moved forward in its search for a new educational manager, announcing the preselection of five candidates who achieved the highest scores in the initial evaluation phase. These individuals will now proceed to the interview stage.

The selection process is being conducted in accordance with the ITSE's regulations for appointing an educational manager. This phase is crucial for filling the position for the 2025-2029 term, following the resignation of Milena Gómez in January of this year.

The five preselected candidates are Emelda Yolanda Oglivie Henry, Dafni Yeniveth Mora Guerra, Angie Sucibel Arjona Lezcano de De Gracia, Rubén Darío Frías Ortega, and Rebeca Estela Bieberach Reyes de Melgar. According to the approved schedule, these candidates will undergo interviews, with the scores from this stage being added to their previous evaluation results.

Subsequently, the three candidates with the highest combined scores will advance to the final stage: the defense of their motivation and competency essays. Initially, 10 applicants progressed after meeting the public call's requirements, with the first evaluation phase narrowing the field to the current five contenders. The entire process is guided by Law 71 of November 8, 2017, and current institutional norms.
