Internet and mobile phone services provided by Izzi experienced significant disruptions on Thursday afternoon, leaving many customers unable to connect.

Reports of outages began surfacing around 4:00 PM, with users flocking to Downdetector to report problems with broadband internet, mobile service, and WiFi. The issue appeared widespread, affecting users in major population centers including Mexico City, Nuevo León, Baja California, and Jalisco.

Complaints also flooded the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, as customers struggled to access Izzi's services and reach the company for assistance. Many expressed frustration over the inability to connect to the internet or make calls.

Izzi's official support account on X responded to numerous user complaints, acknowledging the service interruption in affected areas. The company stated that its technical team was actively working to resolve the issue and restore services as quickly as possible.
