Scottish actor Jack Lowden has emerged as a leading candidate to portray the next James Bond, a prospect fueled by recent claims from British television presenter Richard Osman.

Osman, speaking on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, revealed he received information from a source privy to the Bond casting process. "Someone told me with certainty who the new Bond is a few days ago," Osman stated, though he cautioned that such information has been inaccurate in the past. The name he heard was Jack Lowden.
