Jacky Wu confirms 12-year divorce, gave all property to ex-wife

Taiwanese television host Jacky Wu (Wu Zongxian) has confirmed that he and his wife, Zhang Weiewei, divorced 12 years ago. The revelation came during a concert in Malaysia, where Wu was performing with his show "Xian Xian Tong Le Hui" (憲憲同樂會).

Wu, who has historically kept his personal life private, disclosed the long-standing separation during his nearly three-hour performance. He admitted that he had previously only acknowledged being separated from his wife but never confirmed a divorce. At the time of the divorce proceedings, Wu stated that he transferred all property rights to Zhang Weiewei.

He also revealed that their eldest daughter, Sandy Wu (Wu Shannu), played a crucial role in mediating and finalizing the divorce. Addressing the audience, Wu expressed remorse for his past, saying, "I was not a good husband, but I am definitely a good father."
