Jakarta government teams up with Marines for capital security

The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI Jakarta) has partnered with the Indonesian Marine Corps (Korps Marinir TNI AL) to bolster security measures across the capital city. This collaboration aims to ensure a safe and conducive environment for residents.

The initiative was formalized during a meeting between the Commander of Pasmar 1, Major General TNI (Mar) Ili Dasili, and the Head of the DKI Jakarta National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol), Muhammad Matsani, at the Marine Corps Headquarters in Cilandak, South Jakarta. The meeting focused on discussing various efforts to maintain order and stability within the capital.

"We are always open to collaborating with local governments in maintaining national unity and integrity, as well as increasing public awareness of the importance of security in the DKI Jakarta region," stated Ili Dasili. He emphasized the Marine Corps' readiness to work with regional authorities.

Matsani conveyed his gratitude for the warm reception from Pasmar 1 and expressed hope for the continued enhancement of this cooperation. He highlighted the importance of this partnership in supporting programs related to Pancasila ideology, strengthening nationalism, and ensuring regional resilience. The collaboration signifies a joint commitment to safeguarding Jakarta.
