Jakarta hosts immersive wellness garden experience

Jakarta is hosting its first and largest immersive wellness garden experience, the BRI Wellness Experience, a collaboration between Plataran Indonesia and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Running from July 16-19, 2026, at Hutan Kota by Plataran, the event transforms the urban green space into a comprehensive wellness destination.

The four-day event features over 30 premium brands and a wide array of activities designed to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Attendees can participate in fitness and wellness exhibitions, body and mind classes such as yoga, mat pilates, meditation with harp accompaniment, pound fit, and step box. The experience also includes wall climbing, community runs, and talk shows covering topics like nutrition, wellness, and stem cells.

This initiative is part of Plataran's 'Home of Peaceful Escape' (HOPE) program, which aims to provide a holistic experience by blending nature, culture, and wellness. Founder & CEO of Plataran Indonesia, Yozua Makes, emphasized that the BRI Wellness Experience is more than just a health event; it represents the 'Indonesia Incorporated' spirit, showcasing cross-sectoral collaboration between Plataran and the government over the past decade.

Beyond the wellness activities, the event offers entertainment, including an intimate concert on Saturday, July 18, 2026, featuring singer Yura Yunita. The garden setting is enhanced with relaxation areas, a performance stage, and live music, creating a complete escape within the city.
