Jakarta Library's Immersive Studio Offers Free Digital Literacy Experience

Jakarta's Immersive Studio is transforming the traditional reading experience into an interactive adventure. Located on the seventh floor of the Jakarta Library at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), this unique space invites visitors to explore literacy through digital technology, 360-degree visuals, and artificial intelligence.

The studio aims to make learning engaging for families, blending knowledge with play. Since its opening in 2025, it has become a popular educational attraction, drawing crowds eager for a modern approach to education. The interactive visual concepts, combined with cutting-edge technology, turn the learning process into an exciting journey.

To ensure a quality experience, visitor numbers are capped at 25 people per 45-minute session. This limitation allows everyone to explore the facilities and various corners of the studio without feeling crowded. The entire experience is free, but visitors are required to book their slots online in advance.

Upon arrival, visitors simply scan a QR code at the entrance to begin their digital literacy exploration. The Immersive Studio represents a new wave of educational tourism in Jakarta, demonstrating how technology can enhance learning and make it accessible to all.
