Jalisco Prosecutor Investigates Assault on Student in Lagos de Moreno; She Was Beaten and Run Over Outside Secondary School

The Jalisco prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into a violent assault against a secondary school student in Lagos de Moreno. The incident, which occurred outside Technical Secondary School 127, involved the student being physically attacked and subsequently run over by a vehicle.

Reports indicate that a fight broke out among students as they were leaving school on Tuesday. During the altercation, an adult woman allegedly intervened to attack one of the involved minors. Shortly after, another woman driving a truck reportedly struck the same student.

Paramedics provided initial treatment to the injured student before she was urgently transported to the Regional IMSS Hospital in serious condition for specialized care. The school has handed over its security camera recordings to the Jalisco prosecutor's office to assist with the investigation. Parents of the students are demanding clear explanations regarding the school staff's response protocols during such incidents, as the institution claims the events took place on public property.
