Following the outpouring of condolences, Adendorf posted a second message thanking everyone for their support during this difficult time for her and Allaïa. The circumstances surrounding Adams' death remain under investigation by the Western Cape police. His agent, Brendine Johnson, confirmed the passing and requested privacy for the family, stating, “Nobody expected this. We spoke on Thursday and he was excited about returning and winning the African Champions League. He knew what awaited him and was prepared. He didn’t waste time outside but spent it at home with his family. That’s why, at this moment, I find no words.” Adams had recently experienced the death of his grandmother and remembered his late friend Oshwin Andries.
