JieLiu Rides AI Factory Expansion Wave as Semiconductor Orders Rise 15%

JieLiu Valve Industry is positioning itself for the next stage of the artificial intelligence infrastructure boom, as semiconductor expansion moves from capacity planning into factory construction and equipment installation.

The Taiwan-based company said the value of orders from semiconductor and high-tech electronics customers in its current backlog had increased 15% from a year earlier. It attributed the opportunity to higher capital spending by major international foundries and continued investment by memory-chip, advanced-packaging and printed-circuit-board manufacturers.

JieLiu said AI servers and high-end chip demand are driving expansions at wafer fabs, data centers and advanced-packaging lines. Industrial valves control fluids and gases in plant systems. A large semiconductor factory typically uses about 30,000 to 40,000 valves for flow control, equipment isolation, system protection and operating efficiency.

The company’s valves serve systems handling chilled water, hot water, process cooling water, ultrapure water, clean-room water, clean gases, fire protection water and factory drainage. Its products are designed for conditions ranging from liquid nitrogen at minus 196 degrees Celsius to steam at 760 degrees Celsius, as well as corrosive chemicals, ultrapure water and clean gases.

JieLiu has expanded beyond standard valve supply into product selection, material configuration, actuator matching, engineering calculations and technical services. It is also strengthening its presence in shipping markets, where the global energy transition is supporting demand for liquefied natural gas carriers and dual-fuel vessels.
