Jigawa anti-corruption agency, NILDS sign MoU to strengthen capacity

The Jigawa State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (JPCACC) has partnered with the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) to strengthen its institutional capacity and promote good governance in Nigeria. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) formalizes a collaboration that began with discussions in April 2026.

Salisu Abdu, Executive Chairman of JPCACC, highlighted that the agreement will facilitate cooperation in areas such as capacity building, executive education, specialized training, research, policy development, technical assistance, and knowledge exchange. He expressed optimism that the partnership will expose commission officers to global best practices in public administration, legislative governance, ethics, integrity management, investigative techniques, alternative dispute resolution, and anti-corruption strategies.

Abdu emphasized JPCACC's commitment to becoming a professional, transparent, and citizen-focused institution.
