Joe Biden's cancer has spread 'beyond his bones' and is 'very painful,' son Hunter Biden worries

Former U.S. President Joe Biden is experiencing significant pain as his prostate cancer has spread "beyond his bones," his son Hunter Biden revealed in a BBC interview. "It is very painful and very debilitating in many ways," Hunter Biden added, describing the former president's condition.

Joe Biden, 83, disclosed his diagnosis of an "aggressive form" of prostate cancer in May 2025, shortly after leaving the White House. At that time, he indicated the disease had spread to his bones. A spokesperson confirmed in October that Biden was undergoing radiation and hormone therapy for the illness.

Representatives for the former Democratic leader have declined to comment on Hunter Biden's statements. The health of the U.S. president has been a recurring topic of public discussion, especially given Biden's age when he was elected in 2020. He was the oldest person to win the presidency. Biden attended the inauguration of the Barack Obama Presidential Center in Chicago in June.
