Joeman accused of dining and dashing; ex's brother confirms similar complaints

Taiwanese influencer Joeman is facing new accusations of unethical behavior after a woman claimed he left her at a restaurant without paying the bill. The woman shared screenshots of her conversation with Joeman's ex-girlfriend's brother, alleging that Joeman had invited her to dinner.

According to the woman's account, Joeman excused himself to take a phone call midway through the meal and never returned to the table. She expressed shock and frustration, calling the alleged act "ridiculous" and suggesting it was a tactic to get a free meal. She stated, "Leaving midway without paying, this kind of thing is really ridiculous, turns out this has always been his move to get a free meal."

Joeman's ex-girlfriend's brother responded to the allegation, calling the behavior "super disgusting." He revealed that he has received numerous similar private messages from others who have allegedly experienced similar incidents with Joeman. This revelation suggests the alleged behavior may not be an isolated event.

Adding to the controversy, past remarks made by Joeman on a TV show have resurfaced. In the clip, he discussed his approach to suing people, mentioning how he would find someone's address and "find some social people to handle social matters." He even controversially stated that NT$100,000 could be enough to hire someone to break someone's limbs. While Joeman had previously explained these comments as jokes for the show, their re-emergence during this period of controversy has intensified online criticism.
