Johor Authorities Revoke Network School's Business Licenses, Order Closure

Network School's operations in Forest City have been shut down by the Johor authorities following the revocation of its business licenses. The Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) issued an order for the company to cease operations by July 22, citing violations related to licensing and premises usage.

The decision was finalized during a special council meeting after multiple inspections conducted between July 12 and July 20. MBIP stated that the company had breached licensing conditions and premises usage requirements within its jurisdiction. Specifically, one unit at Teluk Bintang was found operating without a business license, leading to a Stop Business Notice.

Furthermore, MBIP revoked business premises and advertising licenses for another unit on Jalan Forest City 5. The council discovered that the business activities conducted there differed from those approved under its office-use license. The company was also issued a notice regarding its advertising license, as the signboard did not match the approved application.

MBIP stressed the importance of compliance with existing laws and licensing conditions for all businesses operating within its administrative area. The council aims to safeguard public interest, public order, and the integrity of the local administration system. It warned that it would not tolerate breaches of the law and would initiate prosecution if the company continued to operate in contravention of regulations.
