Johor polls: PN to present attractive manifesto with surprise offers

Perikatan Nasional (PN) is set to unveil an attractive manifesto for the Johor state election, promising voters several compelling offers.

Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan, the coalition's Secretary-General, indicated that while the manifesto is ready for launch soon, he could not disclose the exact number of pledges. However, he assured that there would be "surprises" for the electorate.

The announcement came after a Pas Area Annual General Meeting in Kota Bharu, where Takiyuddin also provided an update on the party's preparations for the upcoming Negeri Sembilan state election. He noted that Pas is well-positioned in Negeri Sembilan, holding more seats than its coalition partner, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), which facilitates more thorough preparations.

Pas currently holds three seats in Negeri Sembilan, while Bersatu holds two, giving Pas a slight advantage in coordinating election strategies for the state.
