Johor State Election: Early Vote Counting to Begin at 5 PM

The counting of early votes for the 16th Johor State Election will commence at 5 PM, the Election Commission (SPR) announced on Facebook. The commission emphasized that the public should rely on official SPR announcements for accurate election results.

"The public is advised to refer to official SPR announcements for accurate information regarding election results," the SPR stated. "Avoid spreading or believing any false information as it will disrupt the smooth running of the election process."

As of 4 PM, 63.13% of registered voters, totaling 1,693,625, had exercised their right to vote. The Semarang State Legislative Assembly (DUN) recorded the highest turnout at 72.6%, followed by DUN Sri Medan at 71.6% and DUN Sedili at 70.5%. Conversely, DUN Penggaram had the lowest turnout at 56.5%, with DUN Bentayan and DUN Perling close behind at 56.1% each.
