Jordan Army Says Intercepts Four Iranian Missiles

Jordan's air defense systems intercepted four Iranian missiles on Wednesday, with two additional projectiles landing in remote, uninhabited areas, according to the Jordanian army. The missiles were detected originating from Iranian territory amid escalating regional tensions.

The army confirmed in a statement that its defense systems downed four of the six detected missiles. The remaining two fell in open areas, causing no reported human casualties or material damage. This action occurred as Iran continued its attacks across the region.

Earlier on Wednesday, the U.S. military announced the completion of its eleventh night of strikes targeting Iran. Iranian air defenses were reportedly activated near the capital, Tehran. State-run IRNA news agency cited explosions in several provinces, including Bushehr, East Azerbaijan, Hamadan, Hormozgan, Khuzestan, and Sistan and Baluchistan. U.S. targets were said to include aircraft hangars and drone storage facilities.
