Journalist criticizes PM's 'that is not true' response in parliament

Journalist Mirjana Nikolić has criticized Prime Minister Đuro Macut's conduct during a parliamentary session concerning a no-confidence vote. Nikolić stated that Macut responded to multiple allegations of affairs by current authorities with a simple "that is not true," effectively shutting down any possibility of dialogue.

According to Nikolić, Macut used his allotted time in parliament not to address the accusations but to read a prepared speech detailing his personal and professional accomplishments. She noted that he specifically listed lectures he had given on diabetes and seminars he had attended.

Nikolić characterized Macut's approach as a deliberate obstruction of discussion, preventing any substantive debate on the issues raised against the government. His responses, she argued, were designed to avoid accountability rather than engage with the criticisms presented.
