Juan Díaz celebrates 113 years with cultural, religious, and folkloric events

The district of Juan Díaz in Panama City is marking its 113th anniversary with a multi-day celebration featuring religious, cultural, and folkloric activities. Events kicked off with a religious service, setting a commemorative tone for the festivities.

Locals and visitors can anticipate a range of events organized by local representative David Bernal. These include a special fair hosted by IMA at the Los Pueblos shopping center, a large folkloric parade on August 23 featuring independent and musical bands, and a concluding folkloric festival on August 29 with a concert by Lucho de Sedas.

The restoration of a statue honoring mothers at Heliodoro Patiño Park was also presented as part of the celebrations. The district hopes these events will not only showcase Juan Díaz's rich traditions, culture, and history but also foster strong community engagement as residents celebrate their founding anniversary.
