Juanes launches 30-show tour across the United States and Canada in Florida

Juanes has started a 30-concert tour across the United States and Canada with two shows in Florida, including one in Miami. The Colombian singer's performance in Orlando on Thursday combined songs from his latest album, "JuanesTeban," with the hits that established his solo career.

The set includes "Una noche contigo," "Muérdeme," "Timelapse de sol," "Es por ti," "Mala gente," "Volverte a ver" and "Para tu amor." The tour will visit cities including Atlanta, Nashville, Boston, Houston, Los Angeles, Toronto and Montreal before ending in San Diego, California, on Oct. 22.

Released in March, "JuanesTeban" is the singer's 12th album. Its 16 songs blend cumbia with the rock associated with Juanes, and the record features collaborations with Bomba Estéreo, Mon Laferte, Rawayana, Conociendo Rusia and Vivir Quintana. Juanes also drew the album's illustrations, marking the first time he has created the visual artwork for one of his records.

"Una noche contigo," recorded with La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, reached No. 1 in Billboard's regional Mexican music chart in January. It marked the Mexican band's 21st chart-topper in that classification.

Venezuelan singer Joaquina, named Best New Artist at the 2023 Latin Grammys, opens the first concerts. Mexican singer Andrea Bejar takes over from Sept. 18. Juanes began his solo career in October 2000 with "Fíjate bien," which earned him three Latin Grammys the following year, including Best New Artist. He has since collected 25 awards from the Latin Recording Academy and four U.S. Grammys.
