Argentinian forward Julian Alvarez is seeking a move away from Atletico Madrid, signaling his desire for a transfer after a successful season with the club. Alvarez stated his intention following Argentina's 2-0 victory over Austria at the World Cup, indicating that a transfer would be the best outcome for all parties involved.

Real Madrid is reported to have made an offer of €150 million (approximately 1.1 billion Danish kroner) for the striker a few weeks ago, which was subsequently rejected by Atletico Madrid. Paris Saint-Germain has also been linked with an interest in the 26-year-old attacker, who has scored 49 goals in 106 appearances for Atletico Madrid.
