July 24: Where in Bishkek and the regions will the lights go out?

Residents in Bishkek and several regions of Kyrgyzstan should prepare for potential power supply interruptions on July 24, 2026. The electric grid companies have announced planned outages affecting various districts and settlements.

In Bishkek, power disruptions are scheduled at different times throughout the day. For instance, parts of Tashkumyurskaya Street (house 8) will experience outages from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Other areas, including sections of Chuy Avenue and the "Kirgiziya-1" residential area, will also face temporary power cuts, with schedules varying from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM respectively.

Outages are also planned for several villages and residential areas around Bishkek, such as Alamedin, Dachnoye, and the "Ak-Orgo," "Kalys-Ordo," and "Ak-Bosogo" massifs. These interruptions are scheduled to occur between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, affecting multiple streets and locations within these areas.

The Chuy Oblast will also see significant power disruptions. The Jayilsky District RES (Regional Electric Network) has announced outages in the city of Kara-Balta, affecting the "Kovrovshchikov" quarter and several streets from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Other settlements like Budenovka, Stavropolovka, and Suusamyr are also on the schedule for power interruptions, with timings ranging from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Keminsky and Kantsky RES, as well as the Moskovsky RES, have also published their respective schedules for planned maintenance, impacting numerous villages and streets across their service areas.
