Jung Hoo Lee Hits 3-Run Homer, Reaches 100 RBIs in Giants' Victory

San Francisco Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee showcased a powerful offensive performance, hitting a crucial three-run home run and a double in his team's 9-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels. The South Korean star's timely hitting not only boosted his team's score but also marked a significant personal achievement.

In the third inning, with his team leading 2-0, Lee launched his sixth home run of the season, a 3-run shot that traveled 111.3 meters. This blast brought his season RBI total to 37 and, more importantly, propelled him past the 100 RBI mark in his Major League Baseball career. Lee becomes the sixth South Korean player to achieve this milestone since his MLB debut in 2024.

Earlier in the game, Lee had struck out but redeemed himself with the home run. He added a double in the fifth inning, bringing his season hit total to 31 multi-hit games. Lee was also hit by a pitch in the seventh inning and was substituted out in the eighth. MLB.com recognized his stellar play by naming him the Player of the Game.
