Jürgen Klopp is set to become the new head coach of the German national team, according to football insider Fabrizio Romano. Romano announced the news on social media, using his trademark "here we go" to confirm the agreement.

Romano's report suggests that Klopp has accepted the offer to lead the national squad. While some details of the long-term contract and the project are still being discussed, the core agreement is in place. Negotiations are also underway regarding Klopp's final departure from the Red Bull system.

The change comes after Germany's disappointing performance at the World Cup, which led to the dismissal of the previous coach, Julian Nagelsmann. Nagelsmann had been in charge since 2023.
