Justin Bieber to join Shakira, Madonna, BTS for 2026 World Cup final halftime show

Justin Bieber is set to perform at the 2026 World Cup final halftime show, joining an already star-studded lineup including Shakira, Madonna, and BTS. The event is scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.

This marks a historic moment for the FIFA World Cup, as it will be the first time the tournament's final features a halftime spectacle akin to other major sporting events. The approximately 11-minute performance is designed to combine music, audiovisual production, and entertainment for a global audience.

Beyond the headline acts, the show will feature Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, Nigerian singer Burna Boy, and the PS22 choir. Coldplay's Chris Martin will oversee the creative direction of the highly anticipated performance.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino highlighted the show's dual purpose, noting its role in supporting educational projects through a fund promoted by the organization. "There is nothing more important than education," Infantino stated, expressing pride in Bieber's participation alongside other global stars. Shakira will also perform "Dai Dai," the official song of the 2026 World Cup, during the closing ceremony.
