French defender Joane Gadou scored from a corner just four minutes later, restoring Dortmund's two-goal advantage. Although Arsenal managed to convert a penalty late in the game through Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres, they could not prevent Dortmund from securing the friendly tournament trophy.

This match marked the conclusion of a significant preparation phase for both Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund as they gear up for the new season.
