K-Pop Legends BIGBANG Confirm Jakarta Stop for 20th Anniversary World Tour

K-pop legends BIGBANG are set to electrify fans worldwide with their 20th-anniversary world tour, officially confirming Jakarta as a key stop in January 2027. The highly anticipated tour, announced via the group's official Instagram, kicks off at Goyang Stadium in South Korea from August 21 to 23, 2026. The global journey will span 18 cities, taking the group across the Pacific to Oakland and New Jersey in the United States, followed by performances in Paris and London. BIGBANG will then return to the Asia-Pacific region in October 2026, with scheduled dates in Taipei, Singapore, Hanoi, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Fukuoka. The group will ring in the new year with a show in Kuala Lumpur on January 9, 2027, before taking the stage at Jakarta International Stadium on January 16, 2027. The tour is set to conclude in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, with back-to-back shows on February 27 and 28, 2027. This marks BIGBANG's first world tour in nine years, since their 'Last Dance Tour' in 2017. The upcoming concerts will feature G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, reuniting on stage following the departures of former members Seungri and T.O.P. The tour announcement follows hints from G-Dragon, whose real name is Kwon Ji-yong, who had previously teased the comeback during a solo fan meeting in February and explicitly confirmed the world tour plans at Coachella in April.
